Eye traumas

Dr. Koutoulas sees a wide array of corneal traumas, including abrasions from scratches or various materials damaging the front surface of the eye. Commonly , workers/welders experience metal embedded in the cornea which needs immediate attention. Often , we must clean the remaining rust in order to improve clarity and healing of cornea. Antibiotics and or steroids are often given in order heal the cornea. The cornea is the front window of the eye and we. have to take care of it.
